The National Pork Producers Council released findings from an industry survey on gestation housing at World Pork Expo which indicates some recent statements made by retailers could lead to supply shortages and other unintended consequences. NPPC's vice-president of industry relations, Dallas Hockman believe's it's imperative the producers be involved in current and future discussions. Also in this press conference session at Expo were Dr. Ron Plain to overview the survey and Mark Greenwood to provide a lender's perspective.
