Meggie Foster is an editor at Farm World newspaper, which serves a seven-state area including Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Tennessee and Iowa. In this role, Meggie focuses on livestock and bioenergy issues. Additionally, she co-owns Foster Family Pork Farms, LLC, a grain and hog operation with her husband, Dallas in Greenfield, Ind.

Extended biography
Meggie Foster grew up on a small dairy and grain farm in central Ohio, where her family raised registered Jersey dairy cattle. In 2005, Meggie graduated from Purdue University with a degree in agricultural communications, with a focus on animal sciences. Following graduation, Meggie worked for the Indiana State Department of Agriculture for two years as a communications specialist, until her current employment at Farm World newspaper in Knightstown, Ind.

Philip Lobo has worked in agriculture since 1993. He joined the Animal Agriculture Alliance, located in Arlington, VA, as Communications Director in January 2004. Prior to joining the Alliance, Lobo was Editor of Feed Management magazine, Editor of Feed E-news electronic newsletter and North American Editor of Feed International Magazine. Lobo manages all aspects of the Alliance’s communications and public affairs activities. In collaboration with other staff, he produces and edits all the Alliance’s publications. He develops relationships with key agriculture and consumer media representatives and cultivates a network of scientific and policy experts whom the media can call upon to develop stories.
